Monument in Poznań, Poland.

Crosses in Poznań commemorating the 1956 protests and subsequent Polish protests against the Communist political system.

This photo shows the monument from a different angle: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Poznański_Czerwiec_reforma_RB1.JPG

Interesting stamps!

A Card from Wroclaw, Poland

I was excited to receive this postcard from Wroclaw, Poland on September 15, 2009. Wroclaw is the 4th largest city in Poland and is over 1,000 years old!

The sender tells me this is the town hall, the "most known" building in his city.  He tells me it was built from the 13th to the 16th centuries.  In front of the building is the pillory, which is now a popular meeting place!
